Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, Some FactsPlanned Parenthood in Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center are different and distinct organizations with unique perspectives on helping women. Below are just a few key differences in the methodology these organizations take.
View of Sexuality
The two organizations take a very distinct approach to sexuality. In a video taken at Lakewood Colorado's Planned Parenthood, we see the nurse encouraging a 15-year-old girl to experiment with sexual bondage/sadomasochism, gagging, whipping, and defecation. She encourages the young teen to emulate pornography and also go to sex stores to find answers on sexuality from strangers.
The Colorado Springs pregnancy center will provide a different view on sexuality. We value the intimacy and God-given purpose of the sexual relationship. We will discuss the connection you have made with your sexual partner and how to move forward in a healthy manner.
Both Planned Parenthood and the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center provide STD testing.
Planned Parenthood is the leading abortion provider here in Colorado Springs and makes money off of the procedure. In 2013 a woman claimed the Colorado Springs location forced her to undergo an abortion procedure even after she changed her mind once she found out she would not be receiving intravenous anesthesia for pain. Two days later, the woman ended up in at the ER of a local hospital, the victim of a botched abortion.

You will receive a consultation, pregnancy test, ultrasound to determine how far you are in your pregnancy, and selective STD testing.
