However, for the most accurate results, we recommend you wait until your menstrual period is late. How much does it cost? Our medical quality pregnancy tests and all other services provided by the Pregnancy Centers are free. How quick are the results? You will have the results during your appointment. Your appointment will be 30-45 minutes. During this appointment you will meet one on one with a staff person or trained lay counselor. She will take a brief medical history followed by a pregnancy test preformed by our registered nurse. Our tests are medical quality urine tests and you will have the results within minutes. Are your pregnancy tests accurate? Our urine pregnancy tests are the same kind used by hospitals and medical clinics. The test is over 99% accurate if you are 3-5 days late for your menstrual cycle. Is it confidential? Everything between you and the Pregnancy Centers is confidential. We will not release any information without your permission. The only exception would be a reportable situation as mandated by law. Do I need to bring a parent? It is not necessary to bring a parent with you to your appointment. Do I have to make an appointment? Appointments are not necessary but they are highly recommended. What are my options? You have three options: raising your baby, making an adoption plan for your baby or having an abortion. We will help you look objectively at all of your options so that you can make an informed decision. |
